THE IDEA IS TO EMPOWER PEOPLE
Based in Los Angeles, we recognize a challenging truth: Jewish protest and activism in the United States does not come naturally to many, and we have not historically invested the resources or training needed to ensure a strong pro-Israel voice on campuses and in public discourse. Our mission is to bridge that gap with purpose, strategy, and conviction.
Why We Exist
Antisemitism and anti-Israel sentiment often surface at rallies, campuses, and media narratives. When visible, these protests can overshadow and distort the truth about Israel and Jewish communities.
– We believe in balancing the conversation with a clear, thoughtful, and vocal presence that represents Jewish perspectives and the state of Israel.
– Our aim is not just to respond, but to shape the discourse by providing credible, media-ready voices, and a consistent, principled counterpoint to hostile narratives
What We Do
– Rapid Response Presence. We mobilize a prepared group that can appear on short notice to anti-Israel or antisemitic protests, ensuring Jewish and pro-Israel voices are visible and heard.
– Media Interfacing: We engage with reporters and journalists on-site to convey accurate information, share personal testimonies, and present a unified, factual narrative.
– Symbolic and Spoken Presence. We carry Israeli flags and other symbols of identity to convey visibility, solidarity, and resilience, while also offering articulate voices for the media and the public.
– Campus and Public Awareness. We work to counter foreign influence and negative narratives on university campuses and in broader society, advocating for fair, informed discussions about Israel and antisemitism.
– Strategic Preparedness. We train and equip our members to communicate effectively, stay peaceful, and protect community safety while asserting our voice.
Our STORy
In the wake of October 7, it became evident that we can no longer ignore the anti-Jewish activism surrounding us. Silence is not neutrality when hatred grows louder, awareness becomes responsibility.
Our journey began as individuals who crossed paths and connected through a shared care for Israel and a love for our people and the values we hold dear. We are patriots who love America and embrace its core values, freedom, justice, and the rule of law. Our devotion to these beliefs drives us to defend what is noble, true, and virtuous.
Magen Zion sits at the heart of Israel advocacy. We stand with Israel, counter antisemitism, and strive for truth, dignity, and resilience to echo in every conversation, on every campus, and in every community space where our voices belong.
We are reclaiming Israel’s story of survival against Arab imperialism. Our story is awakening, with resolve and action: protecting our people, defending our homeland, and upholding the values that unite us as Americans and as Jews.

Our Philosophy
Hishtadlut and Emunah- Grounded in the sages’ teaching of “effort alongside faith,” we combine spiritual devotion with practical action. We recognize that defending our people and our homeland is a responsibility shared by all, not left to others.
– Pro-Israel Voice, Responsible Voice. We are committed to being a credible, responsible, and compassionate voice that stands up for Israel and the Jewish community without endorsing unnecessary escalation.
– Community and Collaboration- Our work is rooted in LA and extends to partnerships across communities that share a commitment to combating antisemitism and misinformation.
